Ryan Tomlin (R J Tomlin) is a poet and street-performer based in Leeds. Having spent two years selling his poems on the streets of Leeds, both as his job and a way of getting his name out there, he eventually turned to poetry performance; as well as ‘busking’ regularly in Leeds, York and Sheffield, he has since performed at Farsley Festival, Yorkshire Day, and An Evening of Authors for Men's Mental Health. He has also been featured on the EPOCH documentary series PEOPLE, as well as Made in Leeds TV, BBC Yorkshire, BBC Two’s Politics Live and the I Hate Poetry Podcast.

Ryan has a repertoire of over fifty original poems, spanning various topics, such as: hope, love, loss, mental health, comedy/nonsense poetry, and more personal to him, the pursuit of passions – chasing dreams.
